Brother William "Bill" Willingham passed on May 18, 2014. He has reached the end of his earthly toils, and has been Raised in that blissful Lodge which no time can close, but which will remain open during the endless ages of eternity. Always there with a firm handshake, an attentive ear, and a friendly laugh, Brother Bill will be missed by all who knew him. William (Bill) Willingham was born on March 3, 1930 in Texas and died May 18, 2014. He spent 20 years in the Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. He decided to settle in Washington State. He loved to fish and hunt so he loved this area. He was a member of North Bank Lodge #182 in Washougal, WA, Castillian Lodge #141 in Canton, TX, Pruitt Baptist Church, and the local VFW. He is survived by his wife Valerie Nolan Willingham; daughter, Belinda Farris; one brother, Albert Willingham; four sisters, Millie Anderson, Mary Anderson, Oleta Brann and Sherry Jumper; granddaughter, Krystal Byfield and several great-grandchildren. Viewing will be on May 28, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086) at 10 am. Services will be at 12:30 pm presided over by Dale Dutter with Masonic services performed by Bill's brother Albert. Military burial will be at 1:30pm in Willamette National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (www.tsrhc.org) in Bill's name. |
